Privacy policy
Who we are
Vernyi Studio is the wedding photography and film studio of Andrii and Taras Vernyi, based in Chicago, Illinois. In this policy “we” means the two of us. If you have any question about your information, write to vernyistudio@gmail.com.
What we collect
When you send the inquiry form we receive what you write in it: your names, email, phone number, wedding date and location, whether you would like photo, film or both, what you tell us about your day, and how you heard about us. We use it only to reply to you, to plan and deliver your photographs and film if you book us, and to keep the records a business must keep.
We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not use it for anything you did not ask us for.
Services that help us
- Cloudflare hosts this site, protects the form from spam with Turnstile, and gives us simple visit statistics (Web Analytics) that use no cookies and do not identify you.
- Resend delivers the email with your inquiry to us, and a confirmation to you.
- Meta Pixel, only if you accept it in the banner, tells us which of our ads brought you here. You can say no and the site works exactly the same.
- Films on wedding pages may be played from Vimeo or YouTube, which have their own privacy policies.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiries for as long as we need to answer them, and the details of booked weddings for as long as we work together and the law requires after that. Ask us any time and we will delete what we are not required to keep.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, and you can change your mind about the Meta cookie by clearing this site’s data in your browser. Residents of California and other states with privacy laws have these rights by law; we extend them to everyone.
Photos and films
We may show photographs and films from weddings we cover on this site and on Instagram, as agreed in our contract with each couple. If you would like an image of you removed, write to us and we will take it down.
